As lifelong animal lovers, we know how much our pets mean to us and how difficult it is when they pass. When we decided to go into business together, we wanted to create a new approach to end-of-life and "after care" for pets. Our goal is to personalize the care experience for pets and their "people," while also ensuring that it is affordable and accessible to all.

We started researching what it would take to become a pet cremation provider, but felt uncomfortable with the less appealing aspects of the service, particularly the negative impact the flame-based cremation process has on the environment.

We decided to look for an alternative.

 

We discovered Aquamation. The term Aquamation was coined by BioResponse Solutions, a family-owned company based in Indiana that produces the machines. The Aquamation process is both energy efficient and provides a respectful and dignified final journey for pets. Once we learned there was a gentler, more environmentally responsible approach to caring for pets and their people, we never looked back.
