A More Intentional Pet Cremation Alternative

Unlike flame-based cremation, Aquamation uses water. The process produces significantly fewer carbon emissions and is considered a more environmentally responsible option. Many pet parents feel that Aquamation is a gentler, more respectful way to say goodbye.

While Aquamation requires specialized equipment and longer processing time, our pricing is comparable to a private cremation with remains returned. We believe families should not have to choose flame cremation over Aquamation due to cost.

The remains are white, reflecting the gentler nature of the Aquamation process. You will also receive about 20% more remains than you would following flame cremation.

The Aquamation chamber can hold up to 550 pounds, so we can handle just about any household pet, including the largest dogs and the smallest of creatures. Our record is a 1 pound Gecko! 

Unfortunately we are currently unable to handle a full grown horse, but please contact us about possible options and we will do our best to accommodate your wishes.

The Aquamation process uses only water and electricity to heat it. There is no combustion, so there are no emissions into the atmosphere. The solution that remains after the process is complete is sterile and can be safely returned to the wastewater system. In fact, the water can be captured and used as an effective fertilizer in gardens and for agricultural use. We are actively working to establish local partnerships for this purpose.
